Home / Website Terms of Use
THE GROUND RULES, BEFORE ANY TILE COMES OFF
I’m Ivan Bodnar, an independent home renovation specialist working as a sole trader in Melbourne. These terms explain how this website works and how to read the information on it. By using the site, you agree to them.
In short, this site is here to help you understand bathroom renovations and to get in touch with me. It isn’t a shop, a booking system or a price list.
1
CLAUSE 1 — PURPOSE
Nothing is sold, booked or paid for on this website. Sending an enquiry doesn’t create a contract or reserve a start date. It simply starts a conversation about your bathroom.
2
CLAUSE 2 — GENERAL CONTENT
The guides and service pages, including What the Visible Finish Doesn’t Tell You, are general information. What actually applies to your home depends on its existing condition, the proposed scope and any relevant requirements.
3
CLAUSE 3 — QUOTATIONS
This site doesn’t show prices, and I don’t give instant fixed-price quotes. Costs vary with existing conditions, materials, preparation and the work involved, so a detailed quote generally needs an on-site assessment. See What Affects Bathroom Renovation Costs.

CLAUSE 4 — PHOTOGRAPHS
Photographs on this site are reference images. They’re there to illustrate materials, surfaces and stages of work, such as tile, adhesive, sheeting and framing. Unless a caption says otherwise, they don’t show a specific project of mine or the outcome you should expect in your bathroom.
These reference photographs are used under their own licences and aren’t mine to license. Please don’t copy the written content of this site for commercial use without asking me first.
5
CLAUSE 5 — REGULATED WORK
Mentions of waterproofing, plumbing, electrical or other regulated work on this site don’t mean I do that work myself. Where a renovation needs it, appropriately licensed specialists complete those parts, and I may coordinate their involvement.
I don’t provide a 24-hour emergency plumbing or electrical service. Details of how this works in a renovation are on Plumbing, Electrical and Regulated Work.

CLAUSE 6 — ENQUIRIES AND LINKS
When you send an enquiry through the Request a Quote page, it’s stored privately within this website. It isn’t passed to marketing services automatically, and no payment is taken. You’ll find more about this in the Privacy Policy.
Sending an enquiry doesn’t guarantee that I can take on the work. Whether I can depends on my availability and on what I find when I assess the bathroom. Please give accurate details so the conversation starts on the right footing.
Links to other websites are provided for convenience, and I’m not responsible for their content. These terms may be updated from time to time. The version on this page is the one that applies.
Send it through the Request a Quote page or call 0413 142 055, between 9am and 6pm, Monday to Sunday.
